How to save your air conditioner
Everyone knows it’s beyond hot outside, but ABC News 4 has some tips on how to keep your A/C from going on the fritz. Basically, their suggestion is to make sure that your air conditioner is kept well-maintained, and call over the maintenance guy to have a look if you’re not sure. It might cost a little bit now, but it could cost a lot more later, not to mention that going days without cool air in this intense heat could be pretty hellish (and dangerous).
From ABC News 4:
Just like your car takes a little longer to cool off in this heat, the same goes for your home. Also, the same as your car needs tune ups, so does your A/C.
They’ve also got video coverage on the issue, so check it out.
