Charleston movie theaters and showtimes

The Charleston area has seven movie theaters. You can get a complete list of area showtimes at Google. Most are more or less your standard fare, but we have a few thoughts if you’re looking …
- For the most posh theater: We recommend the Palmetto Grande for their posh seats, multiple screens and newest building.
- For the cheapest ticket: Visit Summerville’s Cinemark Movies 8 and get $4.75 standard admission and $2.75 during matinee.
- For a movie off the beaten path: Visit the Terrace, you can even get an alcoholic drink there.
- For food: Visit our newest theater, Cinebarre for their full menu including alcoholic drinks.
- For the cheapest ticket: Visit Summerville’s Cinemark Movies 8 and get $4.75 standard admission and $2.75 during matinee.
