Captain's Cup raises money for educational ship, Cainhoy kids

The Captain’s Cup for Cainhoy Kids Charity Tournament will raise money for the Spirit of South Carolina and 155 Cainhoy children. It will be played October 7 at the Daniel Island Club.

The Charleston Regional Business Journal reports:

The Family Circle Tennis Center, Bauer International’s Island House and the Spirit of South Carolina will present the second annual Captain’s Cup charity golf tournament Oct. 7 at the Daniel Island Club. Proceeds will be used to underwrite educational programs aboard the Spirit of South Carolina for about 155 children from the Cainhoy peninsula.

Foursomes are available for purchase for $2,000, and $1,250 of the fee is tax-deductible. Purchases must be made by Oct. 1.
