Talk about disappointment. A Taste of Charleston really needs to buckle down and kick it up a couple of notches next year. My tastebuds were totally misled and absolutely disappointed. Who wants to drive all the way out to Boone Hall Plantation to pay to get in and then pay for subpar food and overpriced beer, especially in these economic times? We all need to stretch our dollars, especially those lucky guests who paid top dollars to have a taxi drop them off at the event, obviously with the intent to empty their wallets out for booze. It’s kinda like a dance off, but with alcohol: a professional drink off. (Sorry kids, we spent all your lunch money out at the tents!) So maybe next year A Taste of Chareston needs an overhaul. Drop the food, amp up the alcohol and serve only Satan Beer. Salut!
