Park Day on Daniel Island is celebrating its eighth year of providing fun for for families, and their pets. They say: “This fun-filled festival features a variety of events for the entire family, including live music, food, animal and nature exhibitions, games, crafts and more!”

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, at the Children’s Park on Daniel Island.

Last year some 9,000 people cam to the event that raises funds for some 30 area non-profits.
