Free horror movie Tuesdays at Communications Museum

Every Tuesday from October 14 to November 4, there will be a free screening of a horror movie at 7 p.m. at the John Rivers Communications Museum at 58 George Street, downtown.

Here’s what’s coming up:

October 14
Horror Hotel (1960, dir. John Moxey)
When a college student researching the history of New England witchcraft disappears, her brother goes searching for her to find out the truth.

October 21
A Bucket of Blood (1959, dir. Roger Corman)
Walter Paisley is a busboy at a beatnik coffeehouse who dreams of wowing the crowd with his sculptures. Unfortunately, he has no talent. But he doesn’t let that stop him…

October 28
Carnival of Souls (1962, dir. Herk Harvey)
A church organist survives a car crash and is visited by visions of the undead.

November 4
Night of the Living Dead (1968, George Romero)
This is pretty much the most important zombie movie ever made. Every zombie movie you have seen has been influenced by this movie.
