'America's Next Top Model' to host casting call

The popular reality show “America’s Next Top Model” is coming to the Tanger Outlets in North Charleston on Tuesday in the search for greatness. Or at least good television.

If you’re interested, here are their eligibility requirements, and here’s the application.

The casting call runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but you can expect long lines, so get there early. Also, registration ends at 1 p.m.; after that, it’s just interview and video sessions.

From The Post and Courier:

Created by supermodel Tyra Banks, “America’s Next Top Model” follows a group of women competing for a grand prize that includes a contract with a top modeling agency. Judges narrow down the field by eliminating competitors week to week.

The show airs in the Lowcountry on the CW network (Comcast Channel 14). According to guidelines posted at the network’s Web site, contestants must be female, between the ages of 18 and 27, and at least 5-foot-7.

I think this is a great article because I know that me and my friends have all been trying to try out for the show and had no idea on how to do that. I am glad that they have said the way to do that. I would love to have the chance to be on the show and learn from Tyra and all her friends.
