Officer: I was assaulted by two James Island students

A police officer says when he told two high school students at James Island Charter High School to leave a court yard, they assaulted him on Tuesday, August 26 around 3:30 p.m.
But after the incident, one of the student’s grandmothers has her own set of concerns over bruises and marks on one of the students, Jasmine Smalls, 17.
