Holy matrimony in the Holy City. It seems like a match made … Well, you get the idea. The point is, couples are clamoring to tie the knot here in town.
They say that they come here for the sun, according to a College of Charleston survey, but they might be coming for a new reason now: The Charleston Area CVB is giving them a chance to win the “ultimate” wedding package.
From The Post and Courier:
It’s no surprise the folks at the CVB has accumulated a stack of 400 videos from betrothed out-of-towners.
…
“I think what we’re looking for is someone who’s enthusiastic about Charleston and who’s just as enthusiastic about each other,” (marketing director Louise) Ballard said.
If you’re interested, the deadline to register is August 29, and the winner will be announced in October. As far as the wedding, it will take place next April.
