First in line at new Bi-Lo grab free goodies

Wait, there was a line? For a grocery store?

OK, enough sarcasm, but I still find it odd that a new grocery store is in the headlines. Though, the new store does have Wi-Fi and employ 130 people, and they did give away $50 gift cards to the first 100 people. … OK, so maybe a better give away than the Apple store opening.

Waiting in line for a grocery store to open … crazy.

Just to be clear, it’s the new ginormous Super Bi-Lo that opened. The company now has 17 stores in the Charleston area, and has 223 stores in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.

Head over to it on Thursday and be one of the first 100 and get a free Bi-Lo keychain, be on of the first 100 on Friday and get a free silicone kitchen set. You can also register at the store to win one of four prizes: A cruise to the Bahamas, groceries for a year, free gas for a year, or an “Entertainment Prize Pack.”
