ConCarne: Charleston gets its own comic book convention

A new comic book convention is getting started in Charleston. ConCarne is being held Saturday, August 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express in Summerville (map).
Some details:
- First 30 get a free portrait by Manic Repressive Artist Davis Ketterer.
- Vendor and artist tables are available.
- There will be a costume contest and art contest.
- Vendor and artist tables are available.
Admission is $10 ($5 under 13 year, free under 5 year)
