Get a does of Brazilian martial arts and culture at the Brazil Bash IV. There’ll be food, culture, and lots of martial arts and dance in the form of Capoeira.

Wikipedia explains what it is:

Capoeira is a folk art that ritualizes movement from martial arts, games, and dance. It emerged in Brazil. … Some proponents believe that Capoeira was first created and developed by slaves brought to Brazil.

The event is Saturday, September 27, from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Daily Dose at 1622 Highland Avenue of James Island. $5 cover.
