Fine Art Annual extravaganza
The Charleston Fine Arts Dealers Association is putting on its 10th Fine Art Annual, a weekend-long celebration featuring more than 25 nationally renowned artists. Receptions, demonstrations, and an auction are all part of the event.
Here’s the program:
Friday, November 7, 5:00-8:30 p.m.- Gallery openings at 15 member galleries.
Saturday, November 8, 9-11 a.m.- Painting in the Park, Washington Park - coffee and light breakfast will be served, well-known Charleston artists including John C. Doyle, West Fraser, Rhett Thurman, Johnson Hagood, Lese Corrigan, Shannon Smith, Jennifer Smith Rogers, and many more are painting in the park.
Saturday, November 8, 11-12 p.m.- Fifth Annual High School Art Competition, Washington Park.
Saturday, November 8, 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. - Annual Gala Reception and Charleston Art Auction, The Renaissance Charleston Hotel (tickets required, call 843-722-2172)
