The Black Lips rocked the Music Farm

On November 3 The Black Lips played a free show at the Music Farm on Anne Street, and they crowd, dance sang, and overall enjoyed the performance.

The Atlanta band creates a pop-punk, alternative sound that everyone can get down with. Jared Swilly, the bassist and lead singer talked with us about Charleston and the performance:

It’s not our first time here, but it’s our first time playing here (in Charleston). The crowd was great … I’d love for the band to come back and do another show.

If you didn’t get a chance to see them this time, they will hopefully be back soon. Either way you should check out their MySpace, where you can sample their music and find out more about these Atlanta natives.
